The Sea Ranch : Signpost
Each signpost is handmade. I’ve used a variety of wood: Poplar, Redwood, Douglas Fir, Pine…
After cutting them to approximately* 12 x 2 x 2, I sand and then prime them with an exterior primer, and repeat, and repeat again. Painted with latex and varnished with multiple coats of Polycrylic. THE SEA RANCH is on the facing side of the small post.
Just like the real posts, each of these small signposts are unique. Wood grain and both natural and hand honed marks give each their own organic and individual quality. A perfect Sea Ranch memento.
